Postal Department has published the list of shortlisted Candidates for Computer Typing / Data Entry Test.. ( Paper II ) based on the Aptitude Test conducted under Phase-I earlier.

II. The above Short List has been prepared in accordance with the procedure published in the Notification No 60-9/2009 SPB1 dated 8-5-2012. The candidates who figure in the above list have qualified for appearing in the Paper II based on marks in the Paper I.
III. The list is in order of Roll Number.
IV. Paper II is tentatively scheduled on 10th,11th,24th,25th,31th August 2013 and 1st September 2013

Speakers of LokSabha

The Speaker of the Lok Sabha is the presiding officer of the lower house of Parliament of India. The speaker is elected in the very first meeting of the Lok Sabha after the General elections for a term of 5 years from amongst the members of the Lok Sabha. The date of election of speaker is fixed by the President. He is supposed to resign from his original party because as a speaker, he has to remain impartial.

Powers and functions of the Speaker

The Speaker presides over the sessions of the Lok Sabha and conducts the business in the house. He decides whether a bill is a money bill or a non money bill. He maintains discipline and decorum in the house and can punish a member for his unruly behaviour by suspending him. He permits the moving of various kinds of motions and resolutions like the motion of no confidence, motion of adjournment, motion of censure and calling attention notice. The Speaker decides on the agenda to be taken up for discussion during the meeting.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations (UNSG), is the head of the United Nations Secretariat, one of the principal organs of the United Nations. The Secretary-General also acts as the de facto spokesperson and leader of the United Nations. Secretary-General is appointed by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council.

The current Secretary-General is Ban Ki-moon of South Korea, who took office on 1 January 2007. His first term expired on 31 December 2011. He was re-elected, unopposed, to a second term on 21 June 2011.
