Hello viewers.. I am Kranthi Kumar from Khammam (Telangana). I am sure that many of you might be wondering how SBI Asso. Clk interview would be. Lemmy tell you mine so that you may get some idea (for 1st time interview wala logo k ilye)

Reached my venue in time and there were many waiting with their parents….

@9;45 they guided us into auditorium for certificate verification and called each candidate for verification (Needless to mention there are selected candidates too). I got my call after 1hr

PS: Even one character certificate is ok, but written in remarks and we can submit the other at the time of joining (as said by the verification officer) and caste certificate should be me-seva, IBPS format is not sufficient. Photo copies of marks memos should be attested not self-attested.

After verification we were sent to interview hall at 11.30. I was last but two in our panel where the average interview time is 20mins. My interview started at 2.00PM. As usual there are 4M and 1F all above 55+ with one DGM of SBH. Entered the room a knock and permission, and got entry.

M1 (DGM): Yes Mr._______, come… please be seated

M1 (DGM): So Mr._________ you are from Khammam?? Tell me something about Khammam??

Said

M1 (DGM): So you are from Mechanical Engg, can u relate how a Mechanical Engg is useful in Banks??

Said

M1 (DGM): Why only clerk??

Said

M1 (DGM): Tell me some Mechanical companies??

Said

Passed the turn to M2

M2: So tell me some steel plants and location??

Told

M2: Tell me some private steel companies??

Told I knew a few and said 2 companies and their location

F1: Tell me about Cloud Computing??

Said I am not sure but I said its applications.

M3: Tell me about SBI

Told a minute

M4: What is CD, inflation, deflation and whether it happened or not?

Answered

F1: So your hobbies are playing video games, what do you get by playing video games??

Answered

M1 (DGM): Nepal’s earthquake epicenter??

Answered

M1 (DGM): Do u know about Vietnam and China conflicts??

Sorry sir, I don’t know (With a smile)

M5: Tell me some Telugu poets who received Gnanapit awards

Puzzled for 15sec and said sorry

M5: Tell me some recent Telugu poets

Again shocked and recovered after 15sec and said sorry sir.

M1 (DGM): You said that ur interest is surfing over internet,, what do u do and how much time will u spend in doing so??

Answered

M1 (DGM): Ok Mr._______ thank you.

Said thanks and greeted them and started my return journey….

BE COOL (COZ THEY ARE NOT GONNA EAT US...) BE CONFIDENT (COZ IT’S OUR INTERVIEW, THEY WANT TO KNOW US) AND KEEP SMILING ( IT BOOSTS UR CONFIDENCE )

FIRSTLY I DECIDED NOT 2 WRITE…BUT IN MY INTERVIEW I SAW MANY READIND CAPSULES AND DECICED 2 HELP ATLEAST ONE WHO IS GONNA FACE INTERVIEW NEXT…

There were 24 candidates in our panel. During document verification they told us to copy the pre-printed article to a blank page in our regional language, ODIA. My turn for interview came at around 12:30pm. Bell rang….

There were 5 panelists (1female and 4male)

Me-may I come in?

M1-yes come in

I wished them

They told me to sit. I sat and said thank you.

M1-tell something about yourself

Me-told

M1-father’s occupation, how many siblings, what they are doing?

Me-told

M2-why banking after engineering? How you will become an asset for a bank?

Me- told (but he is not satisfied)

M2-how many bank accounts do you have? And in which banks? What are the services offered by them?

Me-told

F-what is KYC? what are the documents required?

Me-told

M3-what is PMJDY and what are the advantages of it?

Me-told (but he is not satisfied with my answer to advantages of PMJDY)

M3-what is DBT? what are the benefits?

Me-told but M2 interrupted and asked whether transaction cost reduces or increases

F-what is CBS?

Me-told

They told me to leave. I thanked them and left with a smiling face.

M4 didn’t ask any question

My interview lasted for about 10-15 mins in my regional language i.e. in ODIA.

    My turn came on evening 5.35. Before interview, they checked documents., mostly Date, DOB and Name & they told all students to write 10 line essay in Tamil with Given 10 Topics ( we need to select any one topic and write). I wrote about Thanjavur.

1 Lady and 5 Gents.

M1 :  Tell about You?

Me  : Told.

M2  : Reserve Bank Governor Name.

Me  : Answered.

L1  : What is ERP ?

Me  :Sorry mam, I could not recall it now.

M2   : What is cloud computing?

Me  : Explained with real time example.

M4  : Function of RBI "

Me  : Explained 4 functions.

M1  : About your family.

Me  : Told

M3  :  How will you use your B.E CSE in Banking ?

Me  :Sir I consider my B.E as graduate to enter into the bank. After I get job, I gain skills and use my technical skills in my career sir.

Then they say, Ok you may Go. ( I feel bad about my last answer., because at that moment I became little nervous)

I said thanks to all and madam and left the place.

Hope Good Marks will be given.

Don't feel too much. Interview will be Very easy and be confident in your Answer.

I was the 1st per person to face interview (challenge) on that day, So it started on 10.10a.m.

1.What is the difference between public and nationalized sector bank ?

1st question is i.m.p. maximum emphasis is on this question also time taking.

be very brave & cleverly answer it ,because this person is regional hr.manager. He will always trying to decieve you by asking more and more depth question...

2. Which sector you will choose (private/public) why ,which bank you have an account,why do not have a private bank account ?

3. Why Banking?

4. How currency is delivered to market by RBI ?

5.What is the fuction of Rbi ?

6. Question on your Native Place (the city which you belong compulsory)

7. What are the qualitative credit control of RBI ?

8. How credit and debit/credit card fraudulent is made ?

9. Black money,

10. 3 questions on ur subject.
