Tentative Date of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Exam 2013 Announced
Exam: PA/SA Direct Recruitment Examination for filling up of vacancies of 2011 & 2012
The exam is proposed to be held in 03 Phases with dates as follows:

Further, the letter issued by Postal Department read as follows:
The exam will be held in about 75 cities across the country. There would be multiple examination centres in each city. There would be a total of 1500 examination centres across the country, the circle wise list will be circulated shortly. As already intimated, the exam will be conducted through an approved outsourced agency. However, two observers per examination centre would need to be deployed by the concerned circle.
The detailed instructions regarding the examination will be circulated shortly.

    sir i have applied for postal assistant job in Andhra Pradesh region my doubt is that how many phases of exam does a candidate should appear. it is mentioned on indianpost.gov.in that on 24-4-2013 aptitude test(paper-1) is conducted. so whether ther is chance to conduct paper-2 and paper-3 also

    sir i was applied for the postal assistant/sorting assistant exam 2013 in andhra pradesh .i got my application status as 'not eligible' due to two minor mistakes in filling of my application.but iam very interested to write this exam. can there is a chance to rectify my mastakes in applicatication to attend for the exam plzzzzzzzz.......inform me to my mail.

      Swaroopaji till now Postal Department has not given any information regrading rectification of mistakes in application form...
      So there are no other chances now unless Postal Department issues such a order...
      You can try next Postal Assistant Exam which is supposed to be held on October 2013

      From this year onwards....marks from +2 will not be counted at any stage of the exam...

    In my Direct Recruitment PA/SA Examination - Status of Application/Admit Card .They Show me a ( Your Application has been received and is found to be 'Not Eligible' to appear in the Apptitude Test (Paper I).
    for the following reason(s):

    sir can u plz tell me....there is only one seat for leh ladakh but ladakh is in jammu and kashmir and the total seat for j&k is 49 so is there any chance or make any sense to give exam since there"s only one seat...plz do respond me...thnx alot:)
