LIC AAO Exam 2015 dates postponed

Friends.. Life Insurance Corporation of India has postponed the dates of its AAO Exam from 20th February 2015 to 15th, 21st & 22nd of March 2015. The notification issued by LIC in this regard, read as follows:

DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE, IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO CONDUCT ONLINE EXAMINATION FOR THE ABOVE RECRUITMENT ON 15TH MARCH 2015, 21ST MARCH 2015 and 22nd MARCH 2015 INSTEAD OF 20TH FEBRUARY 2015.

CANDIDATES WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD CALL LETTERS FOR ONLINE EXAMINATION FROM THE SECOND WEEK OF MARCH 2015 ONWARDS FROM THE LINK HOSTED ON OUR WEBSITEwww.licindia.in/careers.htm.

Life Insurance Corporation of India has invited applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the following posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist/Chartered Accountant). Candidates are requested to apply On-Line only. Details are as follows:

Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 200
Name of the Post: Assistant Administrative Officer
Name of the Disciplines:
1. Generalists – For Jammu & Kashmir State: 40
2. Generalists – For North Eastern Region: 60
3. Chartered Accountant- For All India: 100

Age Limit: Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st January, 2015. Maximum age shall not be more than 30 years( candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/01/1985 and not later than 01/01/1994 both days inclusive only are eligible ). Age Relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:
AAO (Generalist): Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution
AAO (Chartered Accountant): An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

Probation Period: One year, extendable up to 2 years.

Application Fees:
-- SC/ST/ PWD Candidates: Intimation Charges of Rs. 50/- plus Transaction Charges
-- Other Candidates: Application Fee-cum-Intimation Charges of Rs.500/- plus Transaction Charges.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
