Andhra Pradesh Circle Result contains the following details..Roll No, Name of candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Marks (Inter, Aptitude Test, Computer cum Typing Test). Hyderabad Result has the same pattern of that of Gujarat Results...and they have also announced the results Division Wise. Unlike other circles in PAPO all vacancies notified is seen filled. PA SBCO also completely filled but in SA RMS section against RMS TP Dn, Tirupathi , RMS Y Dn, Vijayawada and RMS V Dn, Vizag some seats could not be filled as sufficient number of candidates are not qualified. Friends...Today Odisha Postal Circle has declared the Result of PA/SA Exam 2013 held on 05 May 2013.






All candidates are advised to go through the website for getting their names and reporting before concerned Div. Superintendent for further action. They are
requested to produce in the office of the concerned Divisional Superintendent the original educational Certificates/caste certificate/ Discharge certificate  in case of Ex-servicemen along with the xerox copies for further action.

Analysis of Result

Unlike the Result Published by Maharashtra and Gujarat a few days back. Odisha Circle has not published nay details of marks secured by the candidates in Paper-I and Paper-2.  They have just given the Roll Number in examination, Name of the candidate selected, Category and Division to which attached. 1)  Man Booker prize 2013: Eleanor Catton, 28, from New Zealand won the 2013 Man Booker prize for English fiction on Tuesday for her novel "The Luminaries" and became the youngest winner in the award's 45-year history.

Sports
1) India achieved the second highest ever run chase in ODI history: An inspired India pulled off an incredible nine-wicket victory over Australia in the second one-dayer, achieving the second highest ever run chase in ODI history in what turned out to be a high scoring contest.

2) Virat Kohli hit the fastest century by an Indian in one-day internationals: Kohli, who hit 8 smashing boundaries and 7 scintillating sixes, hit the fastest century by an Indian in one-day internationals in just 52 balls in the second ODI agianst Australia, when he surpassed the Virender Sehwag's record who hit the ton from 60 balls against New Zealand in 2009.

3) Top shuttlers Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap along with two other Indians sailed into the second round of the Denmark Super Series Premier with contrasting wins in the opening round, but it was curtains for PV Sindhu on Wednesday.

4) Former India pacer Ajit Agarkar retired from all forms of cricket, bringing down the curtain on a 16-year first class career during which he played 26 Tests and 191 ODIs, besides leading Mumbai to their 40th Ranji Trophy title last season.

2) Manmohan going to Russia, China next week: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is to visit Russia from October 20-22. He will attend the 14th India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow and then proceed to China for an official visit from October 22-24, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Wednesday.

1) World Bank lowers India’s GDP growth forecast for 2013-14: World Bank has revised downwards India’s economic growth forecast for the current fiscal to 4.7 per cent. This is down from 6.1 per cent economic growth projected in April this year.

* Eleanor Catton, the New Zealand author, at the age of just 28 years, became the youngest ever winner of the Man Booker Prize for her novel The Luminaries on 15 October 2013 at the London's Guildhall.

*  28-year-old New Zealander's book The Luminaries - an 832-page murder mystery based on the gold rush in the 19th-century is also the longest novel to ever win the coveted literary prize.

* She is the second New Zealander to win the Man Booker Prize, after Keri Hulme for The Bone People in 1985.

* Catton who started writing the book when she was 25-years-old was given the £50,000 by the Duchess of Cornwall at London's Guildhall on Tuesday evening. The judges picked Catton's audacious take on an old form, the Victorian "sensation novel".

* The youngest ever winner before Catton was Ben Okri who was 32 when his work The Famished Road won the Booker prize in 1991.

* Luminaries is Catton's second novel after The Rehearsal, which was shortlisted for the 2009 Guardian first book award.

* Luminaries is the longest ever book to win this Prize, beating Hilary Mantel's 672-page Wolf Hall which received the Man Booker Prize 2009.

* The year 2013 marks the 45th year of the Man Booker Prize. It was first awarded to P H Newby for Something to Answer For in 1969.

* Last year's winner, Hilary Mantel, had made history as the first woman and the first British author to win the prize twice. Her two winning novels - Bring Up the Bodies and Wolf Hall - have sold over 1.5 million copies.

* The Luminaries is the longest work to win this prize in the history of 45 years of Man Booker Prize.

*  Eleanor Catton is the youngest ever winner of the Man Booker Prize.

*  It is also worth noticing that the 2013 shortlist for the prize was described as one of the best in the history of Man Booker Prize.

* Eleanor Catton is also the last winner of the Man Booker prize which at present is confined to writers from the Commonwealth countries and Ireland only. From the year 2014, entries from all over the world will be welcomed in the Man Booker Prize.

1) CBI registers case against Industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla and former Coal Secretary P C Parekh in connection with alleged irregularities in allocation of coal blocks.It is the 14th FIR in its ongoing coal scam, along with raids at several places.

2) Pak singer Adnan Sami gets notice for overstaying in India: Pakistani musician Adnan Sami was today issued a notice by the Mumbai police for overstaying in India after his visa expired earlier this month.

3)  In a first-of-its-kind initiative to promote use of clean technology, India on Tuesday signed an agreement with Finland to produce indigenous ethanol and reduce country’s dependence on its import. The agreement was inked between Finnish Minister for European Affairs Alexander Stubb and India’s Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Panabaka Lakshmi in New Delhi.

4)  Indian Navy on 15 October 2013 inducted into service its largest offshore patrol vessel (OPV), INS Sunayna, at the Southern Naval Command.
