Three Years of Thirsty Journey - Vivek.G (Clerk - Bank of Baroda)
Hi Friends, I want to share about my
success story to all. This is Vivek from Tamil Nadu. I Allotted to Bank of
Baroda as Clerk by IBPS. BoB is my First preference according to One Bank
employee.

Before this, nearly two Years I tried for Bank Jobs. I am B.E CSE 2012
pass out. Like all people, me too want IT job. I also did a Diploma Course in
Dot Net at NIIT. After that, I went to Chennai to search Job. But my bad luck, I
did not get a good job in IT. Nearly one and half year went.
In 2012, I appeared for IBPS Clerk exam
December month. Exams seems easy and I proud myself that I am going to pass in
exam. When result came, I got zero in two sections and total is very low. From
that point I started preparing for exam and appeared., G.K and English section
are weak for me. Yes also Aptitude, Reasoning.
From 2012 to 2013 I appeared exams, but
failed failed & failed :-(
Then
2014 January month, one of my Friend asked me to Join in Bank Coaching Center.
Yes, that is the turning point in my life. I learned all things about exam. I
went coaching for 2months (Jan to March 2014). Then started practicing from
Home, from April to July, Haaaaaard work.
Newspaper reading help little bit.
Then I appeared (2014 List). From July 2014
onwards.,

1) PM Narendra Modi launched National Air Quality Index:
--> Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 6
April 2015 launched the National Air Quality Index (AQI) for monitoring the
quality of air in major urban centres across the country on a real-time basis
and enhancing public awareness for taking mitigative action.
--> Union Environment Ministry proposes
to extend the measurement of air quality to 22 state capitals and 44 other
cities with a population exceeding one million.
--> Initially the new index will cover
10 cities. They are Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra,
Faridabad, Varanasi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Later it will be extended to more
than 60 cities with a population exceeding one million.
--> The AQI has been developed by the
Central Pollution Control Board in consultation with IIT-Kanpur and an expert
group comprising medical, air-quality professionals and other stakeholders.
2) India's first Scorpene submarine INS Kalvari launched for
sea trials:
--> Kalvari, the first of Indian Navy's
Scorpene class stealth submarines being built under Project 75, achieved a
major milestone with its 'undocking' at the Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) on 6
April 2015.
--> It is expected to be commissioned
into Indian Navy by September 2016.
--> The submarine is part of the Indian
Navy’s ambitious submarine programme- Project 75.
--> The first Scorpene submarine has
been named after its predecessor, an erstwhile Russian 'Foxtrot' class
submarine, Kalvari. It was the first submarine operated by India.
--> The six Scorpenes are being built by
Mazagon Docks Ltd in collaboration with French firm DCNS.

--> Paris- based Syrian-Lebanese Arab
poet Adonis has been chosen for this year’s Kumaran Asan World Prize for
poetry, instituted by the Kumaran Asan Memorial Association to honour poets of
international stature and introduce them to Indian readers.
--> Adonis, author of more than twenty
volumes of poetry in Arabic and widely translated into almost all languages is
a perennial contender for the Nobel Prize for many years.

5) Dena Bank, LIC signed MoU to provide life cover under
PMJBY:

(LIC) and Dena Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJBY) for savings bank account
holders of the bank.
--> PMJBY, a life insurance scheme, is
one of the three schemes announced by the Finance Minister in the union budget
for the year 2015-16.
--> This will be a group life insurance
cover and would be renewed annually on June 1 every year.

physics prize:

schoolboy in the UK has been awarded the Institute of Physics Prize for

--> With this win, Williams has won 66

1) Land ordinance re-promulgated with President's approval:
--> The land acquisition ordinance,
which the government could not get converted into a legislation in Rajya Sabha
due to stiff opposition, was on 3 April 2015 re-promulgated, a day before its
validity ends.
--> The earlier ordinance is to lapsed
as it has not been converted into a legislation during the first part of the
Budget session as required under the Constitution.
2) PepsiCo commissioned its largest Indian facility in
Andhra:
--> PepsiCo India on 3 April 2015
commissioned first phase of its largest beverage plant in the country in Sri
City, Andhra Pradesh.
--> The plant will manufacture a range
of beverages, including fruit juice-based drinks, carbonated soft drinks, and
sports drinks.
--> When fully operational it will have
nine production lines, the first of which was commenced now.
3) Pedro Cateriano is the new Prime Minister of Peru:
--> Pedro Cateriano Bellido was
appointed as Prime Minister of Peru by the President Ollanta Humala.

--> Justice Michael Zothankhuma of the
Gauhati High Court administered the oath of office to Tripathi, 80, at the
Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan.
6) Centre extends National Food Security Act deadline by 6
months:
--> The Centre has given six months'
more time to the states for rolling out the National Food Security Act (NFSA),
Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said.
--> The deadline, which has already been
extended twice for implementing the food law, was ending on April 4.
--> Only 11 states and Union Territories
have so far implemented the National Food Security Act which was passed by
Parliament in September 2013.

--> Ace Indian mountaineer Malli Mastan
Babu who went missing in the Andes mountains on March 24 during a climbing
mission has been found dead.
--> Babu was a top Indian mountaineer,
having achieved the feat of becoming the "fastest seven summiteer" in
the world (172 days in 2006, during which he climbed seven summits on seven
days of the week in each calendar month).
--> He was also the first Indian to
summit Mt. Vinson Massif, the tallest peak in Antarctica and the first person
from Andhra Pradesh to conquer the Everest.
8) Minor planet named after chess star Vishwanathan Anand:
--> India’s first chess grandmaster,
Vishwanathan Anand has been granted the honor of having a minor planet named
after him.
--> With this privilege, Anand joins
former world chess champions Alexander Alekhine and Anatoly Karpov who have had
a similar honour bestowed on them.
--> The minor planet, now known as
Vishyanand, was previously identified as planet 4538 and is located somewhere
between the planets of Mars and Jupiter.

Basketball Association's first player of Indian origin — and also its tallest —
