Sampooran Singh Kalra famous as Gulzar is a lyricist, director, screen writer,

Dadasaheb Phalke Award
The
Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the highest award of India in cinema. The award was
given annually by the Government of India for lifetime contribution to Indian
cinema. The award was introduced in 1969. Award was introduced to commemorate
the birth centenary year of Dadasaheb Phalke.
