Important Shortcuts in Excel for IBPS Clerk Exam 2014

Friends.. As you know in the IBPS Clerk Exam held on 6 & 7 December 2014, many questions were asked relating to shortcuts used in Microsoft Excel. Hence in this post, we are providing you the important shortcuts used in excel, which will be useful for those having exams in coming days.

1. Create a new workbook - Ctrl+N
2. Open an existing workbook - Ctrl+O
3. Save the active workbook- Ctrl+S
4. Save the active workbook under a new name, displays the Save as dialog box - F12
5. Close the active workbook - CTRL+W
6. Copy the contents of the selected cells to Clipboard - Ctrl+C
7. Cut the contents of the selected cells to Clipboard - Ctrl+X
8. Insert the contents of the Clipboard into the selected cell(s) - Ctrl+V
9. Undo your last action - Ctrl+Z
10. Open the "Print" dialog - Ctrl+P
11. Ctrl+1 is used for - Open the "Format Cells" dialog.
12. Display the "Find" dialog box - CTRL+F
13. Move to the beginning of a worksheet - Ctrl+Home
14. Move to the last used cell of the current worksheet - Ctrl+End
15. Switch to the next worksheet - Ctrl+PgDown
16. Edit the current cell - F2
17. Select the entire worksheet - Ctrl+A
18. Select the entire row - Shift+Space
19. Select the entire column - Ctrl+Space
20. Repeat (Redo) the last action - CTRL+Y
