Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his
second cabinet expansion and reshuffle exercise since his government came to
power in 2014, on 5 July 2016. In the cabinet reshuffle he inducted 19 new
faces. Five ministers have been dropped from the Union Council of Ministers.
These are Nihalchand, Ram Shankar Katheria, Sanwar Lal Jat, Manuskhbhai D Vasva
