Google’s Independence Day doodle mistake

Google’s Independence Day doodle mistake

Yellow is not saffron — thundered armies of outraged tweeple — as Google's Doodle celebrating India's Independence Day struck the wrong colour on Thursday.

Google, which celebrates global events with a signature doodle, created one on August 15 with paisley ribbons in the colours of the Indian tricolour. Except for a small problem — they used yellow instead of saffron generating howl of online protests.

Google responded promptly, and an updated doodle with the right colour was uploaded by the afternoon. Google officials said they had taken the criticism on board and made the changes. Google employs a significant number of Indians across its global operations.

Here is the doodle first posted by google and the change later it made!!!
