10 October 2015 IBPS PO Prelims Review & Questions (Slot 1)

Hi friends.. Today (10.10.2015) is the third day of  IBPS PO 2015 Prelims Exam. Today also exam will be held in four slots ie, 9 AM, 11:30 AM, 2 PM and 4:30 PM. First slot exam at 9AM is over. As per the reviews from our friends exam was of Moderate level. Here is the detailed analysis of the first Slot exam along with expected cutoff. 

Here is the Pattern of IBPS PO Prelim Exam.

1) English Language - 30 Questions - 30 Marks

2) Quantitative Aptitude - 35 Questions - 35 Marks

3) Reasoning Ability - 35 Questions - 35 Marks

Total - 100 Questions- 100 Marsk - 1 Hour

English Language (Level – Moderate)

1. Reading Comprehension (British Bank Based) - 10 questions -Moderate

2. Reading Comprehension – 10 Questions RC on Bank of  England -Moderate

3. Cloze Test – 5 Questions (Private Schools and Govt. Schools) - Moderate

4. Fillers - 5 Questions - Easy

5. Errors -  5 Questions - Moderate to Difficult

Quantitative Aptitude (Level –Moderate)

1. Data Interpretation - 10 questions - Moderate

2. Number Series – 5 Questions - Moderate

3. Approximation – 5 Questions - Easy to Moderate

4. Quadratic Equation - 5 questions - Easy

5. Simplification - 5 questions - Easy

6. Miscellaneous(Age, Mixture Allegation, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Time & Work, etc.) - 10 questions -Moderate

Reasoning Ability (Level – Easy to Moderate)

1. Syllogism – 5 Questions - Easy

Note: Syllogism Questions was of 2 statement and 2 conclusion. Also possibility questions was asked but it was of easy level.

2. Coding & Decoding - 5 questions -Easy

3. Inequalities - 5 questions - Easy

4. Sitting Arrangement (Circular) - 5 questions - Moderate

5. Puzzles(Complex Arrangement based on Colour and Months/ North South Arrangement) - 10 questions - Moderate to Difficul

6. Coding Decoding – 5 Questions - Easy

7. Blood Relation – 3 Questions - Easy

8. Miscellaneous Questions – 2 Questions  - Easy

The overall expected cutoff of IBPS PO Prelims Exam from this exam will be around 36 – 41 for general category.
